We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte.
This is a full-time evening position, working 3 days a week, with occasional overtime required. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will possess advanced surgical technology skills, with experience in providing patient care in the surgical suite. They will maintain a safe work environment, perform all related job responsibilities, and ensure quality patient care during operative procedures.
Responsibilities will include:
- Possessing a thorough knowledge of aseptic technique and its application.
- Assisting in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments prior, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assisting Registered Nurses in preparation of patients, assembly of supplies, instruments, equipment, and proper disposition of specimens.
- Performing duties according to department policy and procedure.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology or completion of a military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist.
- At least 2 years of operating room experience in a surgical technologist role.
