Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in a self-contained or resource classroom setting
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assist with case management as needed

About the Role:

This position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, valid New Jersey Special Education Certification, and experience teaching in a self-contained or resource classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities.

Salary and Benefits:
