We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant Education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing behavior plans and conducting assessments in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create effective behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify academic, behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
- Analyze assessment data to provide recommendations for appropriate interventions and accommodations.
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student goals and services.
- Implement and monitor progress of behavior plans and interventions.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid CA Pupil Personnel Services (PPS): School Psychologist credential.
- Experience in developing behavior plans and conducting assessments in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of psychological principles and theories as they apply to educational settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in special education.
