Reporting Relations:

Reports to: District Store Director, Store Manager

Positions reporting to you: Staff Pharmacist(s), Pharmacy Technician(s)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pharmacy operations
  • Lead pharmacy personnel and ensure adherence to regulations
  • Manage inventory and pricing strategies
  • Address customer inquiries and maintain department standards

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee nursing home accounts and medication distribution
  • Assist in other store functions as required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software applications
  • Pharmacy degree and relevant experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks, uphold standards, coordinate activities, and select new team members
  • Recommend employee transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, and salary adjustments

Working Conditions:

Office or clinic environment within store locations, involving standing and walking

Equipment Used:

PC, pharmacy software, printer, scanner, calculator, telephone, fax, copier

Contacts:

Regular interaction with the public, suppliers, vendors, and pharmacy operations team

Confidentiality:

Maintain the confidentiality of customers' private medical information
