Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Treatment

Freese and Nichols is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead water and wastewater treatment plant projects in the southeastern United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement project plans, including earned value management principles
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project success
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and marketing
  • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project management best practices
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering; Master's preferred
  • North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to become registered within 6 months
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in hydraulics, water/wastewater treatment, and industry standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
