As a Lead Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in the Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, a modern facility dedicated to providing exceptional inpatient rehabilitation services. This position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality care to patients in need of rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and oversee nursing personnel; assign responsibilities and coordinate nursing operations.
- Contribute to the formulation of nursing protocols and procedures.
- Facilitate ongoing education and professional development for nursing staff.
- Engage in direct patient care, assess individual needs, and ensure that services are effectively implemented and documented.
- Maintain accurate patient healthcare records.
- Keep track of supply inventory; order necessary supplies and equipment.
- Uphold the organization's Code of Business Conduct and Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring staff performance and addressing compliance concerns.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- CRRN certification preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
