Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office correspondence, including answering phone calls, emails, and arranging meetings and travel.
  • Assist with preparing legal documents and contracts, and perform other tasks as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently.
  • Take care of administrative tasks, such as managing the inbox, archiving emails, and ensuring the team is aware of upcoming deadlines.
  • Complete legal research under the supervision of attorneys and paralegals.
  • Maintain case management systems and electronic filing systems.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office products.
  • Quick to learn new technology.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a law firm or office environment as an administrative assistant or secretary.
  • Some college is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Applicants must be able to type 50 words per minute or faster.
  • Candidates must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing programs.

Compensation: $50,000 yearly.
