Job Summary:

The Laundry Supervisor is a key member of the Great Wolf Resorts team, responsible for overseeing the laundry department to ensure operational excellence and high-quality service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the scheduling of laundry personnel to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations
  • Develop and implement training programs for new employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members
  • Oversee the processing of laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and storage, to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
  • Ensure the laundry department area is maintained in a clean and organized manner, with all equipment and supplies properly stored and maintained
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment, reporting any issues to the engineering team for repair
  • Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members to ensure high-quality service and efficient operations
  • Manage inventory of laundry chemicals and ensure proper usage and storage
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a laundry or housekeeping environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, preferably in a laundry or housekeeping environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement process improvements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and quality

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist, with the ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to work with chemicals according to directions
