Hotel Breakfast Attendant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Home2 Suites by Hilton Columbia/Ft Jackson, SC. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked breakfast area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain the breakfast bar in an attractive and abundant presentation.
  • Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
  • Order or purchase food supplies as needed.
  • Prepare fresh fruit, coffee, and juices for our guests.
  • Set up serving dishes, utensils, cups, and other products.
  • Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
  • Wipe up spills and remove trash.
  • Restock self-service food and supplies as needed.
  • Wash serving equipment and return it to storage.
  • Return reusable food supplies to storage.
  • Vacuum and sweep carpets and floors.
  • Mop floors.
  • Dust, brush, polish, and vacuum furniture.
  • Dust and clean room decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces.
  • Inspect areas for safety hazards and report any issues to your supervisor.
  • Provide excellent guest service and wear proper clothing based on company policy and brand standard.

Requirements:

  • One year of hostess experience in a restaurant is required.
  • Prior hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of health department standards of food sanitation and safety practices is required.
