Job Summary

As a key member of our front office team at UAB Health System, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. Under general supervision, you will provide a variety of specialized services in support of the operations of our assigned clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Check in scheduled and add-on patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Enter demographic and charge data into our system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform other clerical duties related to collection, deposit, and reconciliation of clinic revenue.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinic team as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
