Job Description

Vivo HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Nutrition Specialist to work with a large geriatric organization in San Francisco, CA.


Responsibilities:

1. Reviews diet orders in charts and consults with physicians, nurses, and patients.

2. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to address diet and nutritional issues, including patient care plans and problem-solving.

3. Provides nutritional education to patients, family, and staff as needed; coordinates community resources.

4. Maintains accurate records, reports, and statistical data as required.

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an approved Dietetic program.

2. Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

3. 2 years experience as a dietitian focusing on care of the elderly or frail.

4. California Driver's License.
