Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Propulsion Systems Engineer to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our Flight Systems Engineering Capability, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing propulsion systems for various aircraft platforms. Your expertise in areas such as propulsion system analysis, control systems design, and simulation modeling will drive the success of our projects.

About the Role:

The selected candidate will assist in defining mission requirements for guidance, navigation, and control systems, ensuring requirements traceability and quality from system level to component level. You will also develop complex nonlinear 6 degrees of freedom simulation models using multidisciplinary model data, including aerodynamics, mass properties, and propulsion systems. Additionally, you will support the design of flight control laws using modern linear control design techniques and tools to achieve design and performance targets.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in defining mission requirements for guidance, navigation, and control systems
* Develop complex nonlinear 6 degrees of freedom simulation models using multidisciplinary model data
* Support the design of flight control laws using modern linear control design techniques and tools
* Perform advanced nonlinear analysis to assess and refine control law design

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in aerospace engineering or related field
* Experience with Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX for modeling systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
