Position Overview
This role is situated within the Aquatics Department, focusing on water safety and instructional programs. This is a flexible position with varying hours ranging from 0 to 39 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a certified water safety instructor.
- Oversee and conduct swimming lessons at the designated aquatic facility.
- Design swim programs tailored to the abilities of participants, facilitating their progression to advanced swimming levels.
- Instruct individuals across a broad age spectrum, from infants to adults.
- Introduce essential safety and survival skills appropriate to the instructional level.
- Collaborate with lifeguards to maintain a safe environment during swim lessons.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess relevant experience related to the responsibilities outlined above and hold the following certifications:
  • Water Safety Instructor Certification
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • First Aid Certification (certifications from recognized organizations such as the American Red Cross, Ellis & Associates, or Star Guard are acceptable)

It is highly desirable to have a Lifeguard Certification. Proof of enrollment in Lifeguard Certification courses may be accepted in lieu of certifications. Successful hiring is contingent upon the completion of required certifications.

Additional Information
The position is open to candidates worldwide, including those eligible for Military Spouse Preference and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference.

Compensation and Benefits
This position falls under a pay-banded structure. Sunday premium pay may be available, subject to authorization, for eligible employees.
