Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients with spinal cord injuries regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to patients with spinal cord injuries, including evaluation, goal setting, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct patient evaluations and re-evaluations to assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Maryland.
  • At least one year of experience working with patients with spinal cord injuries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
