Your Role at Sephora: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, ensuring exceptional client service, and driving sales performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient client experience.
- Collaborate in developing and executing strategies to enhance store sales and boost profitability.
- Assist in monitoring and managing sales performance, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Aid in leading, coaching, and motivating a team of associates to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations, oversee employee development, and provide continuous feedback.
- Support the leadership team, ensuring effective collaboration and accomplishment of store objectives.
Client Satisfaction and Service:
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through outstanding service.
- Address client concerns and provide suitable resolutions.
- Promote client loyalty programs and services to enhance client engagement and retention.
Store Standards and Compliance:
- Maintain exceptional store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to uphold a safe and efficient work environment.
- Uphold Sephora brand excellence in-store, ensuring a consistent and high-quality client experience.
Resource Management:
- Assist in managing inventory levels to guarantee product availability.
- Support the Store Manager in resource allocation and staffing management, ensuring optimal productivity and performance.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven successful experience as a retail assistant manager.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing a high-volume, complex retail or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership capabilities and business insight.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A talent for attracting, identifying, and inspiring team members.
- Flexible availability to accommodate a retail schedule.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand/walk the sales floor for the entire shift, and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
- Adherence to Sephora's dress code and policies outlined in the Sephora Employee Handbook.
Compensation and Benefits: The annual base salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Individuals in this role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses.
