Job Title: Lead Registered Behavior Technician

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing programs, goals, and care plans for clients with Autism and other behavioral disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention to children with Autism and other behavioral disorders in the home and school setting.
  • Develop and create programs, goals, materials, and Behavioral Change Plans (BCPs) for clients with the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Train new technicians and provide support and guidance to existing technicians.
  • Participate in training and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and implement training and educational materials for use by other technicians.
  • Provide job-specific direction and guidance to other technicians.
  • Serve as a mentor to technicians when struggling with or seeking advice about cases and/or administrative processes.
  • Take on-call duties to answer questions and provide guidance/support to technicians outside of regular work hours.
  • Provide support and education to families.
Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled in or accepted to a BCBA or BCaBA program.
  • Must have completed the BACB required 40-hour training program.
  • One year of experience providing services for children with developmental disabilities and/or challenging behavior.
  • Ability to effectively elicit and provide information to and from appropriate individuals via strong communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Compliance and Ethics Expectations:
  • Participate and successfully complete the company's compliance program requirements and adhere to the Code of Conduct, Company policies, and applicable federal and state requirements.
  • Set an example for other employees regarding how the Company's Code of Conduct and Compliance Program is applied and observed every day when dealing with customers, business operations, or other teammates.
  • Report potential violations of company policy, Code of Conduct, and/or applicable laws and regulations to the company hotline, through the chain of command, to the Compliance and Ethics Department, or through other channels made available by the company for reporting potential violations.
  • Promote an environment in which other employees are encouraged to report potential violations.
  • As appropriate, provide input and suggestions regarding areas in which policies, procedures, workflows, and/or controls can be improved to enhance compliance.
