About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cell Operator to join our team at HSM Solutions. As a Cell Operator, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality bus seat units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist welders in welding bus seat units in fixtures, jigs, or other positioning devices.
  • Assist welders in welding sub-assembly components of bus seat units, such as tubes and hinges.
  • Stock components as necessary for daily activities.
  • Replace wire stump as needed.
  • Measure and record quality information.
  • Report and correct quality issues as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.
  • Actively participate in housekeeping requirements for the department.
  • Operate robotic welders to include basic troubleshooting and programming.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Operate drill for sub-assembly components of bus seat units, such as tack-strips.
  • Operate plasma torch for various bus seat components.
  • Replace Argon/CO2 cylinders and pressure regulator hardware.
  • Attach tags as directed by forklift operator, lead, or supervisor.
  • Repair or replace various robotic welder components.
  • Assist other members of production as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.
  • Formal education is not required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but not required for consideration.
  • Must have prior experience operating a MIG welder.
