Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main Quality Assurance resource for department supervisors, focusing on problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
Establish, implement, and document quality standards and requirements for product manufacturing and inspection.
Design and apply methods for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection.
Work with suppliers, customers, and internal process owners to resolve quality issues and ensure the implementation of effective corrective actions.
Establish supplier quality requirements and monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
Support New Product Project teams to provide for smooth transition of New Products into the regular manufacturing process.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6-10 years of experience providing Quality Assurance support to a department.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
10+ years of experience with the ISO 9001 auditing process, Advanced Product Quality Planning (AQPQ), developing process control plans, and Failure Models and Effects Analyst (FMEA).
Six sigma training, preferred.
