Job Description

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services, providing accurate and unbiased recommendations.
  • Develop and implement tailored individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals, ensuring student needs are met and progress monitored.
  • Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns, and promoting healthy relationships and coping strategies.
  • Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to develop targeted strategies for improving student outcomes, leveraging expertise and resources to drive success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make informed recommendations for services and interventions.
  • Cultivate crisis intervention skills to provide timely support during emergencies, prioritizing student safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on diverse populations and needs.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including educators, parents, and administrators.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education, ensuring compliance and best practices.
