The Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in the healthcare team at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, a leading provider of comprehensive medical services. As a Radiology Technologist ARRT PRN, you will be responsible for preparing patients for and assisting physicians in the completion of intricate radiologic examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate positioning and exposure techniques.
- Assist physicians in the completion of radiologic examinations, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal, and hospital regulations.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of patients, providing excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Graduation from an accredited education program in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT R.T. (R) certification or registry eligibility.
- Must be registry eligible and obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date.
- 1 year post-graduate experience strongly preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
