Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, coordinate, and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on various aspects of labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current RN licensure in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire.
- 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
