Job Summary

Body Fit Plus Inc is seeking a qualified Psychologist to join our team at a correctional facility in Coalinga, California.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological services to mentally ill inmates/wards, including crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.
  • Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history, to assess inmate needs and make treatment recommendations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including the selection and implementation of psychological treatment modalities.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to inmates/wards.
  • Document all care provided to inmates, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings.
Requirements
  • Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in a public or private institution.
  • Valid Photo ID Driver's License or Passport.
  • Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association.
  • Valid California Psychologist license.
