Position Summary:

We are in search of a highly qualified and enthusiastic Agile Project Leader to join our dynamic team at One Park Financial. This prominent, hybrid role requires a committed professional who can adeptly balance the duties of a Scrum Master and Project Manager. The ideal candidate will guide our agile teams in delivering top-notch products and services, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and client expectations. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a dedication to continuous improvement. On the project management side, you will leverage your strong interpersonal skills to identify and engage with project stakeholders, managing all ongoing communications to keep everyone informed and on track. As a senior and experienced member of the department, you will be expected to take on additional responsibilities tailored to your individual capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrum Master Duties:

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across multiple distributed teams.
  • Establish working agreements and ensure adherence to agile principles and practices.
  • Eliminate obstacles and shield the team from external distractions.
  • Coach team members on agile methodologies and practices.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners/Product Managers to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Monitor and report on team progress and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Conduct and maintain capacity/resource planning.
  • Define tasks, set clear sprint performance standards, resolve performance issues, and drive accountability within delivery teams.
  • Track and report on sprint metrics (completed, committed, carryover, burndown, etc.).

Project Management Duties:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, milestones, schedules, and status reports.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Manage project risks, issues, critical paths, and dependencies.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned.
  • Oversee documentation and organization of project management tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a similar capacity.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Proficiency with project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services sector.
  • PMP certification.
