Area Operational Excellence Manager

The Area Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for implementing various continuous improvement initiatives to achieve manufacturing excellence. This role will drive the cultural transformation towards operational excellence, coaching project contributors on Lean principles and the adoption of Integrated Work Systems (IWS).

As an active change agent, this individual will influence high-level business leaders to adopt a Lean philosophy using the Agropur Operating System. This includes loss tree analysis, Daily Management System (DMS) tools, unified problem solving, SMED, and other methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant field, with a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing, focused on performance management. Experience in implementing change management strategies and knowledge of problem-solving processes, such as A3, RCA, and PDCA, are also required.

This role may require travel across Agropur's facilities and the ability to facilitate work sessions onsite to support activities in line with the Agropur Operating System. The successful candidate will be fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish, and have a preferred lean/six sigma accreditation.
