As a Registered Nurse on our Adult Inpatient Psych unit at Springstone, Inc., you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals struggling with mental health issues and/or chemical dependency.
Responsibilities- Support the organization's mission and philosophy of care by delivering exceptional nursing care to patients
- Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients, ensuring medical orders are followed and treatment planning is initiated and followed
- Act as a patient advocate at all times, promoting dignity and respect for all individuals
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting recovery and wellness
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training
- Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact
- Preferred experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
