Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead HR initiatives for practice integrations, acquisitions, and transitions at Penn Medicine Medical Group (PMMG), ensuring seamless execution and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement workforce management strategies to meet PMMG's goals, partnering with shared services to design and implement processes that drive client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with HR and entity leadership to create and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and diversity hiring and retention.
  • Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) related to critical metrics such as first-year turnover, clinical turnover, and diversity hiring and retention for physicians, APPs, and staff.
  • Ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and correcting HR data points, including organizational units, job codes, credentials, requisitions, and more.
  • Generate and analyze complex datasets for leadership, presenting data in clear, actionable formats to inform decision-making.
  • Manage compliance efforts across PMMG, addressing non-compliance issues with managers and employees, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Update and maintain the HR policy manual in collaboration with corporate HR, tracking policy expirations and preparing policies for signature.
  • Support the onboarding of new managers to HR policies and processes, working with the HR Business Partner.
  • Manage job descriptions, serving as a resource for location, maintenance, and electronic entry, and initiating approval workflows as needed.
Credentials and Education:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
  • SPHR/PHR and/or SHRM SCP/CP Certification is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in administration, project management, human resources, or related fields is required.
