Job Title: Teacher of Information Technology/Computer Science

Burlington County Institute of Technology is seeking a qualified candidate to teach at the High School level for a full-time position of Teacher of Information Technology/Computer Science/CyberSecurity.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach students the fundamentals of Information Technology/Computer Science, including applications and techniques commonly used in the industry.
  • Instruct students using effective instructional strategies.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that connects to the learner.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution in computer science or information technology related field.
  • 2-4 years' occupational experience in the field or postsecondary education strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in programming, including mobile platforms.
  • Excellent communication abilities and public speaking technique.
  • Effective management and interdepartmental coordination.
