About the Role
The Clinical Health Advocate is the center of the care team, owning patient relationships and collaborating with experts to drive meaningful impact. We're seeking teammates who are skilled at building rapport and trust with patients, leveraging patient-centered strategies to improve health outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Building and strengthening relationships with patients, families, and the community
- Collaborating with care team experts to find creative solutions to help patients meet health goals and overcome social barriers
- Providing patient care across various modalities, including video, phone, and in-person interactions
- Operating as Galileo's eyes, ears, and hands in the field, providing clinical support and performing tasks such as taking vitals, performing phlebotomy, and administering medications/vaccines
About You
We're looking for a creative problem solver and compassionate provider of support. You should have strong people skills, the ability to connect with anyone, and a deep desire to create meaningful, positive impact. Ideally, you'll have 1-2 years of clinical experience as an LPN, Paramedic, or CMA, and experience with phlebotomy and injections is a plus. Reliable access to personal transportation is required. For the safety of our patients and staff, employees in this role must be fully vaccinated with all necessary vaccinations.
Compensation Range
$26 - $28/hr. based upon prior experience, performance, and market dynamics
Physical Requirements
Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without a reasonable accommodation: This position requires the ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds. The job involves frequent bending, reaching, and kneeling to perform various tasks.
Travel Requirements
As part of this role, you will be required to spend ~80+% of your time 'in the field' and at your market's HQ. This is primarily for field-based patient care and support, usually concentrated in specific zones but can include travel across the market. Time at HQ is largely for team collaboration, learning and alignment.
