Job Title: Civil Engineer/Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our team at Huitt-Zollars. As a key member of our Urban Development and Public Works Practice Area, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct site visits and document findings, and work directly with clients and staff to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and review project reports, proposals, and other documents, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, and identify opportunities for business growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CADD, site development, LID, grading, and utilities design.
  • Experience with client development and relationships, and ability to generate work and projects.
