We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Cook Children's Health Care System. As a key member of our pediatric care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and families in a collaborative practice setting.
Responsibilities- Provide ambulatory nursing care to patients and families in a clinic or office setting.
- Collaborate with physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s) to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct patient and family focused assessments, interventions, and education.
- Perform daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Minimum 1-year pediatric nursing experience in a clinic or office setting or equivalent.
- Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas.
- Current CPR certification.
