Key Responsibilities- Assist in daily routines, including snack and lunch preparation, diapering, and playground supervision.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to licensing regulations and accreditation guidelines.
- Support the educational team in implementing Developmentally Appropriate Practice and maintaining a cohesive program philosophy.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, reporting any incidents to the Educational Coordinator.
- Assist educators in their daily work with children and families, demonstrating engagement and enthusiasm.
- Communicate effectively with children, using a friendly and respectful tone.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Educational Coordinator.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry children up to 40 pounds, as well as move light furniture and play materials.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical exam, including a TB test.
- Successful background checks and child protective clearances required.
