Job Summary

The Food Service Assistant is a vital member of our team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and customer service. Key responsibilities include:

This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently when necessary. The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience, retail counting and reconciliation of money, and knowledge of food service principles.

Responsibilities

The Food Service Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Providing outstanding customer service and effectively communicating with patrons and co-workers
  • Maintaining quality control standards
  • Operating equipment such as grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, and dishwashers
  • Working independently when necessary and possessing an understanding of food safety and sanitation processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have previous customer service experience, retail counting and reconciliation of money, and knowledge of food service principles
  • Be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
  • Perform basic math
  • Be able to work independently when necessary
