Overview

At Emory Healthcare, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of nursing. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our team in the GI/GU Cancer department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of evidence-based care strategies for patients with GI/GU cancer.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement safe, cost-effective, and patient-centered care plans.
  • Contribute to the advancement of nursing practice through education, research, and professional development.
  • Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing.
  • Valid, active unencumbered nursing license.
  • Three years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least two years of recent experience in the area of concentration.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
