Position: Registered Behavior Technician
Reporting Structure:
- Directly reports to the Clinical Director and Practice Manager.
- Collaborates with staff, external providers, and families.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; college experience is preferred.
- Must possess and maintain RBT certification.
- CPR and first aid certifications are required.
- Crisis prevention certification as designated by the organization is necessary.
- Adhere to supervision requirements set by the BACB and maintain credentials.
- Background check clearance is mandatory.
- Experience and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Deliver direct therapy in both individual and group environments.
- Ensure ongoing supervision and engagement with clients during therapy sessions.
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) teaching methodologies.
- Conduct health checks on clients at the start of each session.
- Collect and analyze data on client behaviors.
- Assist in individualized assessments and functional analysis procedures.
- Prepare and follow skill acquisition plans as required.
Professional Conduct:
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and participate in staff meetings.
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client dignity.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory documentation requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities as required by the role.
- Ability to lift and support clients as necessary.
Work Environment:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
