POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Associate role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, managing product displays, overseeing designated departments, and supporting the store management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming customers and assisting them with inquiries regarding products and their locations; employing The S.A.L.E.S. process to facilitate their shopping experience.
- Accurately completing all necessary company and departmental documentation, such as Price Change Bulletins and inventory tags.
- Receiving and unpacking merchandise, verifying items against received paperwork, and restocking as needed.
- Arranging and maintaining product displays according to company guidelines to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
- Ensuring inventory accuracy through regular adjustments and following nightly maintenance protocols for store cleanliness.
- Staying informed about new products and promotional items.
- Practicing loss prevention techniques to minimize theft.
- Utilizing store technology, including RF Guns and point-of-sale systems, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Adhering to company policies and engaging customers to maximize their benefits as Ace Rewards members.
- Communicating effectively with customers and team members in a professional manner.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Assisting customers with paint mixing and color matching.
- Providing recommendations for services such as key cutting and screen repair.
- Operating the cash register, promoting additional sales, and ensuring a positive checkout experience.
- Participating in team meetings and adhering to all company policies.
- Maintaining a consistent attendance record and being available for a flexible work schedule, including weekends.
RELATIONSHIPS
Engaging with all levels of store management, supervisors, and associates to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
TECHNOLOGY
Proficient use of computers, RF Guns, and point-of-sale systems is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are preferred:
- Six months of relevant experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members.
MATH SKILLS
Competence in basic arithmetic and the ability to compute rates and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role requires regular walking, use of hands, and the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds with assistance. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

COMPENSATION: $14.00 per hour
