Job Summary and QualificationsUnit: This role is situated in A4W
Provides leadership that enhances the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience: Minimum of one year of RN experience.
- Preferred Experience: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a commitment to obtain a BSN within five years of hire. RNs with ten years or more of experience are exempt.
- Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Licensure/Certifications: Must possess and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON.
- Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Preferred Licensure/Certifications: National Certification in the area of specialty.
