Radiology Imaging Specialist

Samba Care is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join their team in Rochester, Minnesota.
This is a travel job opportunity that requires the candidate to work as a Computed Tomography Technologist, responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals, positioning patients, and operating radiographic equipment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
- Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitor video displays to adjust density or contrast.
- Monitor patients during examinations, ensure their safety, and follow procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
- Produce diagnostic images, report important information to the Physician, and update patient records.
- Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
