Assistant Store Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Maverik. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading by example, developing and mentoring team members, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and set the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
- Team Development: Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the store is maintained in a safe and clean condition, and that all equipment is in good working order.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
Requirements:
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with team members and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collected & Composed: Remain calm and composed under pressure, and provide exceptional customer service even in challenging situations.
- Effective Problem Solving: Possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
- Flexible Schedule: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
