Job Description

Qualis Corporation is seeking a highly skilled technical professional to lead the development of a compact space-based RF payload. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced hardware design methods, theories, and research techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply advanced hardware design methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
  • Lead a team of subject matter experts to define technical problems and architect solutions.
  • Develop and present technical white papers and executive-level briefings.
  • Develop program technical approach and technical roadmap.
  • Develop technical program plan, identify technical milestones, and ensure progress against the technical objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience with space electronics design practices.
  • Experience with design engineering, project engineering, and systems engineering principles.
  • Experience with digital signal processing systems and radio frequency systems.
  • Ability to work with a dynamic, skilled team on high-impact, high-visibility projects.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in EE or a related technical field preferred.
  • Experience with building software interfaces to hardware.
  • Possess excellent time-management skills to contribute to multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess excellent presentation skills.
