About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Systems Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems for commercial and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution
  • Successfully complete projects while exceeding customer expectations
  • Adhere to all OSHA and SimplexGrinnell safety policies and procedures
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedule and work overtime as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in commercial sprinkler system installation and testing
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy supplies and equipment (over 70 lbs)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirements
  • Pass a pre-employment security, drug, and background check
