Optical Advisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused EyeCare Advisor to join our team at LensCrafters. As an EyeCare Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers promptly, answering phone calls in a friendly and courteous manner, and explaining all required paperwork, tests, and products.
• Optometric Care: Ensure all patients receive the highest quality optometric care by reviewing prescriptions and patient information carefully, identifying special needs, and consulting with Optician, Managing Doctor, or Retail Management when necessary.
• Sales and Merchandising: Demonstrate knowledge of current fashion trends, assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their vision, lifestyle, and budgetary needs, and promote products and services to meet sales goals.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks such as handling and filing patient records, processing shipments, and operating the POS system with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent
• Skills: Strong customer service skills, knowledge of current fashion trends, strong communicator and listener, problem-solving ability, familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators, organization skills, sales skills, and strong basic math skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical, strong interpersonal skills.
