Job Summary
The Eye Care Advisor role at EssilorLuxottica Group is a dynamic position that requires a strong customer service focus and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As an Eye Care Advisor, you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming experience for our customers, ensuring that they receive the highest quality optometric care and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that all patients receive a positive and welcoming experience.
- Provide accurate and thorough information to patients regarding their eye health and treatment options.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs and budget.
- Perform pre-examination testing and provide coaching and guidance to patients on the care and handling of contact lenses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Operate the POS system, processing transactions and handling customer payments.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest products and services.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and ability to communicate effectively with patients.
- Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register and computer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or optical.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
