About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst - Global Travel to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our Global Travel organization, you will play a critical role in developing strategies, data, analysis, reporting, technology, visualization, and insights to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage programming languages and tools to manipulate, analyze, visualize, and draw insights from big data sets.
  • Develop dynamic dashboards and reports in response to the needs and priorities of designated internal/external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Global Travel Procurement team to provide analytics to support supplier RFPs.
  • Provide insights and innovation across functional workstreams.
  • Effective communication skills to influence stakeholders to implement fact-based recommendations from actionable insights.
  • Follow competitors, consumer trends, and market dynamics impacting supported categories.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
  • 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data science, data analysis, statistics, or related field, Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Related industry experience (for example, retail, merchandising, healthcare, eCommerce).
  • Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (for example, SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau).

Additional Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
