We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a leading provider of staffing solutions, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients and candidates alike.

Responsibilities

  • Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process to ensure timely completion.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination on vehicle repair status.
  • Perform high-quality repairs while maintaining on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Make informed decisions on repair versus replacement, considering factors such as safety, cost, and cycle time.
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to the vehicle and fenders.
  • Participate in all required safety meetings and adhere to industry standards.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
  • Direct the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed, explaining procedures and providing guidance.

Qualifications

  • Certification in body repair is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the vehicle repair process by manufacturer is essential.
  • ICAR welding certification is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
  • Supervisory experience in repair personnel management.
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
