Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Ventura Solutions LLC. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing key accounts and capturing new business within assigned territories through outbound telephone contact.
Responsibilities:- Achieve annual sales targets by understanding and implementing client systems, contracting, and pricing strategies.
- Build relationships to promote sales growth of key accounts through outbound phone, email, or other methods of communication.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with multiple customer departments, including Purchasing, Engineering, Maintenance, Laboratory, and Quality.
- Identify customer opportunities that are not readily apparent and offer solutions.
- Coordinate efforts with other departments to ensure the satisfaction of and bolster the relationship with key accounts.
- Perform sales support duties, including entering orders and quotes.
- Reactivate accounts with no sales activity within a defined period and identify biggest potential.
- Develop new business through researching and understanding the customer's market.
- Attend product/vendor/systems meetings and trainings to stay up to date on new product lines and current systems.
- Utilize supplier catalogs, on-line databases, and other appropriate resources to cross reference products to meet customer order requirements.
- Assist customers with buying decisions, researching product, cross-referencing, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain accurate records and files necessary for proper management of customers.
- Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field from an accredited higher learning institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications is required, and strong database experience is desirable.
- Interpersonal skills to build relationships with and conduct professional and courteous phone conversations with internal and external customers.
- Must be results-oriented and self-motivated, striving to achieve targets and goals, and be assertive and proactive.
- Excellent technical and analytical skills, with the ability to learn product lines to participate in promotions and probe effectively.
- Must possess a customer-focused mentality to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to manage and execute multiple projects concurrently to successful completion, meet deadlines, and follow-up in a timely manner through excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
- Strong selling and negotiation skills, with the ability to independently negotiate and manage relationships with various customers and execute key sales strategies.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently working under pressures, within deadlines, or other time essential constraints.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
- Ability to travel for training and team meetings, up to 10%.
