Medical Technologist PRN

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist PRN to join our laboratory team. As a Medical Technologist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine, complex, or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological, and immunoassay procedures on body fluids.
  • Communicate effectively with other care providers to ensure continuity of patient care and meet the needs of our patients.
  • Demonstrate accuracy for all testing performed and perform related quality control and required proficiency testing according to policy and procedure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
  • MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
