Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, receiving radioactive materials, preparing radioactive material doses, and maintaining radiation records.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses, and maintain radiation records
  • Perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area
  • Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment
  • Perform all related duties such as scheduling, charging exams, etc.
  • Take emergency after hours call on rotating basis
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT and/or NMTCB license
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment
