Job Title: Manager, Solution Architecture

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our architecture team, where you will play a key role in tackling complex problems and driving innovation in support of associate experience applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our business products and domains
  • Demonstrate and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Partner with various teams to identify options, drive reviews, and develop solutions
  • Communicate and collaborate with technical, project, and business resources
  • Provide high-quality system solutions that focus on reuse, scalability, resilience, and performance
  • Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with teams to find creative solutions
  • Educate team members on capabilities and constraints of technology platforms and trade-offs
  • Ensure all architecture decisions, risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts are properly documented, communicated, and understood
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 6 years of experience with systems analysis and design
  • At least 6 years of experience as an application or solution architect
  • At least 4 years of experience in cloud technology (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • At least 4 years of experience with an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • 7+ years with TOGAF, C4, or similar architecture frameworks
  • Familiarity with lean principles
  • Experience engaging, influencing, and driving initiatives by partnering with technology executives
  • Experience mentoring engineers or architects
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a variety of audiences
