About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative II to join our team at Congressional Federal. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing transactions, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service: Provide timely, accurate, and exemplary service to members when processing transactions, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, while maintaining compliance and operational integrity.
  • Cross-Selling and Referrals: Proactively cross-sell credit union products and services, refer members to the appropriate business partner for additional services, and meet or exceed sales and referral goals.
  • Member Relationships: Build long-term member relationships by understanding their financial needs, providing personalized solutions, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Operational Integrity: Maintain compliance, operational integrity, and member security at all times, and assist other branch staff with complex transactions or processes as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two years to five years of similar or related experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
