Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Technician to join our team at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic around our work zones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain safe work zones to prevent accidents and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
  • Coordinate with crew members to ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the work zone is set up and taken down efficiently.
  • Monitor and control traffic to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of workers and the general public.
  • Lead job site teams and instruct/monitor and train crew members on safety and job duties and responsibilities.
  • Report to TCS and provide regular updates on the status of the work zone.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in traffic control and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with crew members and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Flagger certification and ATSSA TCT Certification (if applicable).
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
